Days Home Solutions is based in Longwood, FL. We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving central Florida since 2004. As a fully licensed and already established construction company. We provide excellent quality and service to any sized projects. Whether residential or commercial, no job is too big or too small. We understand the importance of helping customers design any addition, remodel or repair from ground up and start to finish.

We are a drug free workplace. Drug tests are required for all employees.

Our hours of operation are 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 6:00pm with an hour lunch and Fridays off.

Pay: $15 to $18 per hour deepening on experience

As an Accounts Specialist / Accountant, you perform essential financial transactions and maintain reliable documentation to ensure that our company’s finances remain on track. Working on both accounts payable and receivable, you verify, classify, compute, and post transactions. With acute attention to detail and accuracy, you prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits. You also facilitate the payment of invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

In accordance with our internal accounting policies, you ensure that transactions are recorded promptly and accurately. You communicate clearly with the appropriate people in our organization about any discrepancies or issues that arise. Your satisfaction comes from working with a fantastic team and expanding your accounting career!

Position Expectations and Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Pay: $15 to $18 per hours depending on expierence.

As a Construction Job Scheduler, you are the bridge between our contractors and our customers. In this administrative role, you work in our office, scheduling appointments for inspections and subcontractor work on new and ongoing construction projects. An excellent communicator, you keep customers up to date on upcoming appointments, ensuring they are always informed when subcontractors will be arriving on the job site. You also follow up with subcontractors to confirm appointments.

Your excellent organizational skills keep our business running smoothly. You plan and coordinate monthly schedules for small- and large-scale projects, ensuring that appointments are coordinated for maximum efficiency. Your satisfaction comes from working with a great team and helping our customers build their dream homes!

Position Expectations and Responsibilities

  • Good time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • 4+ years of scheduling experience
  • Experience working with Co-Construct or Buildertrend
  • Basic knowledge of construction projects and timelines related to building and remodeling

Pay: Rate of pay will be based off experience

Construction Estimators is a very detail-oriented position and is responsible for advising the foreseeable cost of each of our projects. Working closely with the customer and co-worker makes communication skills a high priority. Organization, price calculations and time assessments play a vital role in making sure the scope is clearly defined to everyone involved within the project. This is a high pace and time sensitive position. Quickly and accurately creating estimates is key to making sure a project stays within the customers time and budget expectations.

Position Expectations and Responsibilities

  • 5 year of experience as estimator / construction industry
  • Good time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Estimate cost by looking at the entire project scope

Pay: $25 – $30 per hour depending on experience

Lead Carpenter will provide guidance and supervision to the team involved in our construction projects. Understanding the project and being able to communicate the scope to everyone on the team is essential for success. This fast paced position will require quick and accurate onsite assessments and decisions. This will ensure the project is completed in a timely manner with the quality each of our customers expect.

Position Expectations and Responsibilities

  • Carpentry with 5 years of experience
  • Have own tools
  • Self motivated
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to communicate with team members and customers
  • Produce quality work in a timely manner
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Install cabinets and molding
  • Have home and business remodeling experience
  • Experience with construction materials (ex: Drywall, wood, fasteners, etc…)
  • Knowledge of tools and how to properly and safely operate them
  • Work and understand blueprints or instructions from supervisors
  • Install partition, doors and windows
  • Repair and replace interior and exterior wall finishes (ex: stucco, drywall texture, paint, etc…)
  • Accurately measure and able to calculate surface area
  • Use a level, ruler, framing square with accuracy
  • Ensure if installation is level and secure
  • Safely work with ladders and scaffolding
  • Check and ensure work is up to code and specifications
  • Create structures for pouring concrete
  • Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles and doors
  • Safely demo and remove previous existing structure

Pay: $25 – $30 per hour depending on experience
